2010 Summer Dance Trip
June 27 – July 4, 2010, Mexico
We are excited to announce this year's upcoming Firebird Dance Studio Summer Dance Trip and Workshop.
Where
The destinations will be Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Mazatlan, Mexico
Mode of Transportation
We will be boarding the Carnival Cruiseship, Splendor, and sailing for 3 beautiful Mexican resorts. There are 2 days at sea as well as stops at some of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. And the ship is a vacation of its own. It has beautiful accommodations, pools, delicious food, and a great entertainment program for all ages.
And of course, the FIrebird Dance staff will be making a special program of our own for all our dancers on board. Dancers can look forward to special events and theme days, rehearsals, fun games and competitions, and lots of dancing, memories, and surprises.
The 20th Anniversary Film
There IS one more thing to look forward to. This will not be not just any ship, but the same cruise ship our dance company — known then as Lysaya Dance Ensemble — went on 10 years ago, while we were filming the first film about our dance school. That movie, If You Keep On Believing, was made in honor of our 10th Anniversary.
Now, 10 years later, we are gearing up to celebrate our 20th Anniversary next season! So, we're commemorating this special time by making another movie which will begin filming on board the cruise. We will be filming all the dancers' unforgettable moments during the trip and allow the dancers to be a part of a beautiful and ongoing memory which we — and all of you — have all built together.

Dates
The ship sails from Los Angeles on June 27th, 2010.
We will arrive back in L.A. on Sunday, July 4th, 2010.
