Benefit Concert Performance
January 9, 2011, Palo Alto

Our first concert of our 20th season was dedicated to our founder, Roza Lysaya. It featured a full-length program of selected signature dances from years past as well as many new pieces, choreographed in our previous season. This was a benefit concert and all proceeds were donated to the Palo Alto Jewish Community Center. We had an amazing turnout.

The show went great: we premiered a few new dances, we had a warm audience, and we're excited to say that the show was completely sold out! In fact, extra rows of seats were put in and, sadly, some were even turned away because the theatre was at capacity. We thank you all again — we had such a great time!

Here's a video of the Moldavian Dance performed on Jan. 9. Thanks to ASenderzon for the video post!
